Today’s game is some more Assassin’s Creed Revelations. I’ve been doing some of the side content in this game, and today i went and did the tomb of Vlad the Impaler.
Doing this really made me wish for an Assassin’s Creed game set in the time period of Vlad. The aesthetic of the prison was cool with how dark and moonlit it was. I know Hexe is coming up but i suspect that will just be another RPG game, which while i enjoy them i don’t love them nearly as much as i love everything Pre-Origins.

The tombs where you get the crests are fun too. I love how they’re all just big giant Parkour courses basically with giant back drops. I feel like that’s something the franchise has started to lose more and more with each game. If i remember correctly Shadows kind of brought it back, but not really which was disappointing.

Finally, i wanted to end things off shortly (as i’ve been up basically all night playing Minecraft with friends), and just talk about the Minstrel Missions. These missions were therapy after having to deal with them in AC2. You could really tell the developers understood what the players wanted too, because not only do you get to beat the shit out of these guys, but when you sing there’s sometimes a song that will play where Ezio basically tells people to kick Minstrel’s in the groin.
On top of that i love how most his songs are just him taunting previous targets from other games. I loved the one about Cesare in particular, and while not about a target i also loved the one of him mentioning how none of the people there understood Italian.
