Gulags were just prisons and people regularly escaped from them. The soviets actually dramatically decreased the scale of gulags vs. the tsarist period.

A ‘gulag’ alias should just be a leaky pause or backgrounding or something. rm -rf is forceful denazification.

Sadly this is a meme community so I have to go with something catchy and easy to read for linux users of all experiences. I considered creating a single line command that turns /usr/ into /gulag/ because it’s simply forcing the libs to work for the people, but I was going to bed.

          shopt -s extglob; mkdir /gulag/; mv /usr/+(.*)lib+(.*)*/ /gulag/; ln /gulag/* /usr/

Just for you. I am doing this half asleep I have no idea if this would actually do what we’re going for, please don’t try this at home kids.
