  • Apparently what I’m writing here is very easy to misunderstand. Obviously what I meant is what parents wish for their children - and it’s not sex work to pay the bills.

It is fundamental human nature and psychology to see sex and sex work as something not mundane. It carries special consequences and emotions and meaning. This has nothing to do with culture or religion and I very much doubt it can be changed through culture. Nor should it it be changed because of some “principle” you think is more important. It’s baked into us through millions of years of evolution and sexual selection. You could even call it one of the fundamental forces of life. A social forces that shaped every part of our culture, stories, politics.

I’m all for decriminalizing sex work and respecting people, but most sex workers would prefer to work in other fields if it wasn’t so profitable or they weren’t so desperate. Money is power and if you pay someone to do something it can be a form of coercion.

Personally I see being able to generate pornography and eventually replace sex work through artificial means as a fundamental advance in humanity’s ethical evolution. Similar to artificial meat and an end to slaughtering animals to eat them. A base desire that we can replace through technological means.

  • I literally say when the shit with Venezuela started that a ton of “leftists” as in “left wing politics” or people still fans of Obama - they supported the US action against Venezuela. How does that make sense if they do not think the US is still a democratic country. If you think your country isn’t “A” and accuses another country of not being “A” you’d call it hypocritical and not believe it. But they did.

There is a serious disconnect there, and I believe it starts with doublethink or a type of disconnect where people know the US is not democratic, but still believe the US is democratic and fighting the good fight against “authoritarian” regimes.

  • To rise to the supreme peak you need to care about thing except advancing. No family, friendship, empathy, love, justice, freedom, sex. Only greed. Every decision you make has to be in the stratagem of gaining and maintaining power. Any alternative thought is just a distraction and costs you valuable time or political capital. Only then do you even have a chance to rise to the very top. Ideally you’re even lying to yourself. If it helps you to appear to care about family, do so. If not, ignore them.

This is why we’re ruled by the worst people.
