More foreplay.
Build the excitement and create more time between initial erection and final destination. Pay attention the next time you quickly crank one out vs an hour long goon session. Maybe it’s not everyone, but I definitely have a lot more to clean up when I take my time.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why do seemingly well-adjusted adults find it acceptable to loudly play tiktoks on public transport?
491·21 hours agoMy personal favorite is when they decide to read the comments on the post and just let the same 30 seconds of audio play over and over and over.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•"Digital Signatures" just ask you to type your name into a box now. Am I right in thinking this almost-completely defeats the purpose of a signature?
4·1 day agoTo put a finer point on it, it’s not even just “moral fibre”. Sure, higher societal morality is something we should all strive for, but I’m not even asking for that much.
It’s the morally neutral bullshit like handwriting, or reading a novel on your phone instead of on paper, or spending your free time playing video games or watching YouTube/Twitch as opposed to watching Network television. There’s no reason to raise a fuss or dub others inferior for doing things a little different.

183·1 day agoMeh. After hearing years of complaints from old people about how terrible young people are, and working with a lot of young people who are objectively much better people than the old ones that complain about them, I always try to stop to think about why traditions are valuable.
Does writing your words with extra loopy bits that are less legible than print REALLY make you a better person?
Not learning cursive is like not learning Latin. Maybe it was useful at some point, but the only reason to push for it now, is because “That’s how I did it, so it must be the best way, and everyone else is wrong!”

10·1 day agoAnd, most young adults don’t sign in cursive anymore, so, aside from terrible handwriting, their printed name isn’t really much different than a typed name.

8·1 day agoYeah. That’s because nobody cares.
We just wanted to get through the line, we don’t care who’s paying your tab.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What's one cliche "Moral of the story" in media that you hate more than anything else?
241·2 days agoI don’t know if this is still a thing, but I feel there was a surge of media in the 90s and 00s telling us:
If you’re not popular at school, all you have to do is cut your hair, get contacts, and buy the same expensive clothes as everyone else, THEN you’ll finally be happy.

3·2 days agoBring em on! What do you got for us?
Hot take: McDonald’s fries are trash. Sure, I’ll eat them, but every other fast food place has better fries.
The west is at worst facing a more boring and monotone diet.
That sounds like plenty of reason to start a riot!

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why can't I change the terms and conditions in a pre-signed contract with a corpo?
7·3 days agoI agree completely.
I now see how it may have sounded like I was recommending that everyone quit using these services. If you can break free, that’s great, but I know that’s rarely a possibility without completely complicating our own lives.
They know they got us by the balls. That’s why they do it.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why can't I change the terms and conditions in a pre-signed contract with a corpo?
202·3 days agoThis is pretty much it. We all bitch and complain about changes in the agreement, but you always have the option of not accepting those terms. It’s just that once the products and services get their teeth in us, we don’t want to give that up, so we click agree and obey our masters.

14·4 days agoFireballs.
Kindness and compassion are great and all, but Fireballs are MUCH greater.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Would you rather be reincarnated into a world of magic or reborn as yourself (with your current knowledge fully intact)?
11·4 days agoGoing to a world of magic sounds pretty sweet, but only if I can remember that I once lived in a world without it. Otherwise, I’m just a schmuck in the only world I’ve ever known, and magic wont be any more fascinating than technology is today.
The current world with knowledge would be more advantageous than a magic world from scratch.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How do you use the "uno reverse card"?
24·5 days agoI’ve never heard of anyone playing like that. I think it’s just that if it can reverse turn order, it can reverse ANYTHING!
That and it’s just a joke.

Nobody cares because it’s nonsense.
It’s worth spending extra to get the big wheels. The little ones just aren’t very stable.
