3 days agoYeah we are an old couple now (4 kids 13-19) and it’s not perfect but we grew a lot over time. (I used to forget dates on prior relationships) I’m not here for advice or a diagnosis, I’ve always been of the mindset that we can create better habits and improve our lackings. Just sharing and I guess venting a little because it’s harder for me than it is for her. (And probably a lot harder for some of y’all)
It’s a bit more ugly than that given the historical context. Because of religious and political realities, French Canadiens relative to Canadians are more like Ireland for the British. There is some leftover racism from that era but most urban Canadians don’t fall in the old patterns.
