  • Did I see anything strange? Why yes I did!

When I was a young boy, I was traveling in the African Sahara when a rock fell and hit me on the head, knocking me unconscious. I awoke a few days later surrounded by a family of chimps. They loved me and cared for me. They picked the bugs out of my hair and the ticks out of my eyes. They taught me their chimp ways, their chimp language, even their chimp dances. It was all I could do to keep from becoming a chimp myself!

Well years later after I was reintroduced to human society I was strolling through a mall and saw someone that was the spitting image of my chimp uncle. I ran up to him and hugged him. “Oh Unkie! Oh Unkie I missed you so! I missed the bananas!”

He looked down on me with fierce, crazy eyes, and reached up and ripped off his head. It was nothing but a man in a costume. I was mortified.

  • That’s a special earmark project, and yeah we can definitely lay the blame on Trump there.

But there are ongoing programs in every state that could also handle this. Funding has been massively reduced this year, but the program is still active. And since it’s a ‘revolving loan fund’ that means that each state manages a pool of money they loan out for these infrastructure projects, and the interest collected helps fund more projects. The grant money the EPA sends to the states has been slashed two years in a row, meaning that we can’t send out principal forgiveness nearly as much, so localities that can’t pass the credit check won’t be able to use the program.

So yeah, this is likely what happened to Hartman, CO. Very likely this problem could have been addressed/alleviated years ago, but the discussion of fraud is also a huge factor. So like I said, failure on multiple levels.
