I have a truck. I know at least two other people with trucks. Once the pizza is offered, and maybe some beers if it’s a big job, we’re there. It’s the truck code.

Depends on what you’re being cringe about.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How can people know what they want at a given moment?
1·5 days agoI was a vegetarian/vegan for a few years, and the specificity of my cravings increased dramatically. I wasn’t ever just “hungry”, I had specific cravings for specific foods.

03·6 days agoThat’s a lot of words to say move slower. If the train accelerates at rate R when it’s red, and rate B when it’s blue, and B < R, the trim is slower when it’s blue that red.

03·6 days agoI don’t think Harris would be at war with Iran right now. Never said it’s good, but a slower train is easier to stop and runs over fewer people in the interim. It’s objectively better. Not good, better.

01·6 days agoWow amazing, killing people but slower is better
Objectively true
It’s in fact the best we can have and there’s nothing else to do.
Not even remotely close to what I said
How about fucking dismantling that damn train?
If you can figure out a way to dismantle the train without opening the door to a train that’s just as bad if not worse, I’m all ears

03·6 days agoThe blue trolley moves a bit slower, and that’s something.
Lots of cats have little to no portion control and will eat themselves sick. Even if you’re not going to eat it anymore, you should at least take it away and give it back in small portions.

Ah.

The second paragraph answers the first. We wait until we’re coordinated.
If you want to speed up the process, get out there and coordinate. You might be ready, the people here might be ready, but a few thousand geographically isolated people on a left-leaning niche forum aren’t gonna do it. Getting out into the community and getting active, that could actually shift sentiment.
Find a local organization with at least a hundred members. Even if you don’t align 100% with the DSA, join and go to meetings. That’s where you’re going to find people to coordinate with. Network with people, find out who has which skills, and volunteer your own. Participate in mutual aid. Canvas for leftist politicians. Even if you only care about revolution, going to these events and interacting with these causes will bring you in contact with the people who will coordinate with you.
