Kink is stuff “out of the percieved norm”, so it has developed a culture of finding consent, that - sadly! - a lot of “normal people” don’t have.

Should I have added a sarcasm marker? I experience it regularly that people involved in kink care about consent - and a lot of vanilla people don’t. Which is awful.

It was a bit of bitterness and attempt at sarcasm that so many people do not talk about consent - and I know from kink even that can be fun and sexy. (Also in vanilla).
Yes. “Regular sex” is the kind where people just assume what the other wants, where they don’t talk about it and where they don’t agree about consent before and do what both think is “common practice”.
Kinky sex is where you find out what both like, whatever it is, what’s ok for both (consent) and where you have fun and do what the fuck you both like, not thinking about what the fuck someone else might think.
Heh. Here in Germany schools are really trying hard NOT to have “parent-taxis” bring their kids to school by car, as that causes a lot of traffic in front of the schools - and endangers those kids that walk on their own or ride their bikes.
Typically stopping in front of schools is frowned and where possible they try to remove stopping places right in front of the front door (e. g. by making them “school bus only”)
My daughter (adult now) was walking 70m to Kindergarten (crossing a street which we trained a gazillion times with her) on her own from a few weeks before her fourth birthday. (Yes that was unusual, too, but we lived practically next door and she was so proud and happy about the trust we put into her).
In the US we would probably have gone to jail for that.
The same just for sending out the kids to play outside in the traffic-free block where we lived at that time. “Go outside” was something we told them to do.
Definitely, if cutting down aluminum posts in public, the most inconspicuous thing is doing it im the daytime, wearing a hard hat, tinted saftey glasses, a high vis vest, saftey gloves etc.
