I don’t read DMs.

Torque cable might get you some hits, too.

Wha?

They could just stop putting it in right now, and then “transition to natural colors” when it happens.
They could even come up with some stupid fiction about why it was happening--the parrot has sensitive eyes so they had to turn off the color, and then they learn that a little color is okay. Or a bad guy turned off the color in froot loops land, and the parrot had to defeat the bad guy and turn it back on, but they can’t turn it up too high, or the bad guy will return.

There is no ideal solution, only whatever works for you.
There are two methods I use.
Ready?
First, If I just want it to go away, I shout every time it, whatever it is, shows up in my thoughts. I distract myself from the thought, and don’t allow it to take root. At first, I might need to do it several times an hour. Over time, though, the need lessens, and eventually I don’t think about it anymore.
But, that’s not the only way. If I think there might be something to learn from the situation, I’ll do the opposite. I dig in and think it through. I explore everything about it as best I can. I extract whatever lesson I can from it, then it feels completed to me. When I’m done with it, I can put it away and forget about it. I become bored with the subject because I’ve studied it from every angle, and often I do this through writing with a pen and paper. The physical act of writing, rather than typing forces me to engage with the subject more completely. This can be a difficult process, but once it’s done, it’s done, I can move on and it won’t bother me again. I know I’m done when I realize I’m writing in circles, I start repeating what I wrote before because I can’t think of anything else to say, or explore. This is how I got through getting fired from one of my early jobs and later how I got through my divorce.
Take responsibility for your actions, thoughts, and feelings. But, leave other peoples’ responsibilities to them. For instance, my wife cheated on me, that was her choice and I left that with her. But, I wasn’t innocent, I could have been a better husband to her, and I had to admit that to myself and learn what I did wrong, and try to understand why I did it. I could have easily believed the failure of OUR relationship was entirely HER fault because she cheated, but that wasn’t true.
I hope you find something that works for you.
Okay, but in my experience people like this are almost never genuine. It’s a mask.
Humans are complex and we have more than one emotion. It’s healthy and normal to experience them all.
Just be yourself as best you can every day. Everyone is welcome*.
*Except Trump and the people who enable him, fuck those guys hard in the ass, especially the billionaires.

“Sir, do you know why I pulled you over?”
“Because you’re hoping I’m gay?”
This is what we’re using to evaluate literacy in the modern day.
Hmm. I suppose it’s possible there’s some concerted effort amongst college professors to present false information about student literacy.

Ten years into my college teaching career, students stopped being able to read effectively.

Never tell anyone they need to be in a relationship to be happy, because you are happy in your relationship.
I should think that would be obvious.
Also, be honest with yourself about whether you are as happy as you want to be in your relationship. It’s your life and time you’re spending and we all get a limited amount, you deserve to be as happy as you can be.
Yes. Relationships always require ongoing compromise. No two people are identical in their desires or needs.
For some people the benefits of a relationship offset the need for compromise, for others they don’t.

Turns out sometimes its just a guy in the Philippines.
This was the norm when I was young. Comfort with the situation varied, of course. But, to refuse would be more uncomfortable.

As much as they want to “pwn the libtards”, they just can’t afford to.

LOL. That’s not a picture of our actual VCR, just one of the same model.
But, my dad was an aircraft mechanic. He knew his way around tech well enough. Our clocks were always set correctly, as it happens.

For those who want it, Chloe Explains Thirst Traps:

I’d like to see the clips, but I bailed on FB many years ago.

Fine, but self-awareness comes in stages. Learning to recognize that others are scamming them is an easier step than recognizing that they’re scummy.

Someone is “thirsty” for sex. A woman (or a broad approximation there of) exploits that thirst, hence “trap”.
The “woman” is the thirst trap. Woman is in quotes, because it’s almost always not a woman, but a bot, or one of many accounts run by scammers.

That’s a new one to me. Great Britain, I assume.

You know how you think it’s better to keep them, just in case?
It is.
Not only do we not care about it, we actively hate it.
